Advanced Group Clamp On Edge Protection Hire Terms and Conditions
Conditions / Terms of Hire / Trade Services
1. The guardrail and roof scaffolding rental quote price will remain fixed for 30 days from the issue date, after this time we reserve the right to adjust prices should there be an increase in cost of labour, materials, or overheads.
2. An official Advanced Group confirmation work order with details included, needs to be received via email for the edge protection works to proceed. Work order is attached to quote and is editable on screen.
3. All labour work to be carried out during normal working hours (Monday to Friday, unless otherwise agreed. After hours rates are as follows: time and 1/2, double time.
4. All guardrail edge safety scaffolding rental jobs are quoted on lineal meter rate with clear access to the job area. Any moving materials to access will be charged at an hourly rate of $60.00 per man per hour or part there of. Any delays to access properties will also be charged at the mentioned rate.
5. Return to site fee will be charged if there is need to return to site. This will be charged as travel and a per man per hour charge.
6. It’s the Principle Contractors (Hirer) responsibility to insure all Work Place Health and Safety obligations are met.
7. If mains power is running from the street pole to the house, the fuse needs to be removed from the pole by an Energex approved electrician, insulated to meet AS/NZ requirements for personal to work within the 3 metre exclusion zone. The insulation will need to stay inplace until the edge protection is to come down. Failing to have this done prior to AG being onsite, a call out fee will be charged and any waiting time will be charged to the client.
8. Our edge protection hire quote is based on lineal meter rate with 3 handrails installed and access point to roof. Any variation, which needs to occur onsite after the install, will be charged at an hourly rate.
9. The scaffold hirer agrees to pay for all goods lost, stolen, damaged, or not returned, from the time of the delivery by the owner or collection by the hirer, to the time of pick up by the owners vehicle or return of the equipment to the owners premises by the hirer a current replacement cost.
10. When edge protection hire equipment is returned in a condition other than when received by the hirer, a charge for cleaning, reconditioning, renewing part there of or replacing the item will be made where considered necessary by the owner.
11. The hirer will ensure only Advanced Group persons erect, alter and dismantle edge protection onsite.
12. All Advanced Edge Protection equipment supplied on hire remains the property of Advanced Group.
13. The owner doesn’t affect any insurance whatsoever on hire equipment. Insurance of all hired equipment is the responsibility of the hirer.
14. In the event the hirer’s default in payment of any invoice and or the return of any equipment, Advanced Group reserves the right to terminate the hire agreement and to enter the hirer’s premises to recover the equipment, the hirer agrees to grant access to the hirer’s equipment when called upon to do so.
15. The equipment on hire is not to be removed from the residential or commercial scaffolding rental job it is assigned too.
16. Terms of Payment: Strictly seven (7) days from the date of invoice unless prior arrangements have been made and discussed in full. Advance Group reserves the right to withhold men and materials until such time as all arrears are met.
17. GST will be added to each commercial or residential scaffolding rental quote.
18. All edge protection is quoted on erect, dismantle and seven days hire, after the first seven days the cost of $1.00 per lineal meter per day will be charged.
19. Travel to sites will incur roof scaffolding rental pick up and delivery costs.
20. When you sign the attached Work Order you are adhering to the above terms and conditions.
